As a landscape photographer I long to be in the outdoors/mountains, one thing that was halted during 2021 lockdown in London. As the hours turned into days and the days into weeks, my daily walk wasn’t satisfying my desire for extreme landscapes. I’ve always been interested in making art out of nature and been fascinated by the human body. Skinset came from searching for those feelings, satisfying a desire of exploration. On New Year’s Eve at home some newly purchased coloured LED lights illuminated my girlfriends body and inspired me to create this series. I wanted to go one step further and create compositions of nature, mirroring those I’ve visited on previous trips around the world. Getting back to that feeling of isolation in nature whilst isolated at home.
